About Michele

I’m Michele Madigan, a long-time Saratogian, proud military mom, and mother of two adult sons. I work part-time at AIM to assist individuals with disabilities, and I have a passion for both the track and the arts, these passions allow me to connect with our community and make a positive impact in people's lives. ​

As Finance Commissioner, I successfully project managed the spa solar park developing clean energy while lowering costs. I also refinanced debt to save millions, a proactive step that my predecessor overlooked.

I initiated the conversion of our city fleet to electric vehicles, established a dog park on Crescent Ave, kept taxes stable for a decade, set aside land for Habitat for Humanity to build homes, all while developing the Smart City Commission to ensure our city remains efficient, accessible, and resilient. As your County Supervisor, I worked to secure a permanent location for the Code Blue shelter, something that our community crucially needed to have addressed.

I am running for mayor because I believe in creating meaningful change that addresses the needs of our community. I'm asking for your support to unite our city and deliver on a vision for a better future for all.
